Small Multi-channel Data Acquisition System

 

TMR-200Multi-recorder TMR-300 Series is a compact multi-channel data acquisition system capable of combining measurement units for inputting various sensors according to the purpose of measurement. Due to its compact size and light weight, the system can be easily installed not only on existing structures such as machines and bridges in which the installation space is restricted, but also on moving bodies such as automobiles, aircrafts and ships. For the measurement of automobiles, the system accepts input of sensors used for various purposes of tests including traveling performance, maneuverability, ride comfort and safety.
Up to ten measurement units for inputting sensors can be connected together and placed in a small space. Alternatively, it is possible to extend the distance between two units to allow each unit to be placed near the sensors. In addition, by using a distribution unit together, synchronized measurement of sensors scattered in a large area becomes possible.
The control unit is equipped with LAN and USB interface which allow the control of setting and start of measurement from a connected computer.
As for the lineup of TMR-300 series, Voltage thermocouple unit TMR-332, Display unit TMR-381 and Synchronizing Unit with TMR-200 are under development.

Product Concept

Multi-recorder TMR-300 Series is a compact multi-channel data acquisition system that can combine measurement units for inputting various sensors according to the purpose of measurement. One control unit and up to ten measurement units can be connected together and placed in a small space. Alternatively, each measurement unit can be distributed and placed near the sensors.

Measurement units are stored in a small space by extending the cable between control unit TMR-311 and the measurement unit.   By using a distribution unit TMR-371, up to ten measurement units can be distributed with extension of 100 meters at maximum. Since each measurement unit can be placed in the vicinity of sensors, labor and cost for sensor cabling are saved

The distance between two control units can be extended up to 100 meters for synchronized measurement. Measurement is possible for multiple points in remote places (320 points at maximum using four control units).   By connecting the control unit TMR-311 to a personal computer using a LAN cable, measured data are directly recorded into the computer. It is also suited to a fatigue test because long-time recording is possible without depending on the capacity of TMR-311 data memory or SD card.

TMR-211This works as the central unit of multi-recorder system. It controls, supplies power to and collects data from the connected measurement units. Up to ten measurement units can be controlled for measurement of 80 points at maximum.

TMR-323 Carrier frequency strain unit

TMR-371-1 Distribution adaptor

img-tmr252-01This adapter is connected to each measurement unit. The STP cable coming from the TMR-371 is connected to this adapter. Since the power is supplied from the control unit TMR-311, no power supply is required at the site of measurement.

Example:

img-tmr252-01This adapter is mounted on the rear side of the measurement unit for use. It is connected to the distribution unit TMR-371 using STP cable (100m at maximum). Since the sensor output is digitized in the vicinity of the sensor and transferred beyond, stable measurement is possible and the sensor cable is saved.
